Our story started decades ago on our family farm where we spent our childhood in the woods building forts using boards and nails found in our dad’s garage. As the years passed, our passion for building grew and when we reached high school, we renovated an old shed into a pool house as our first major project. A few years later we decided to convert a fieldstone silo into a rustic bar at the bottom with a sleeping level at the top. To push ourselves further, we purchased an 1800s apple orchard with a house in need of major repairs and updating which became our toughest renovation yet. We soon realized there was so much untapped potential within old, worn-down structures that, with the right creativity and knowledge, could be restored into remarkable buildings. While working on these unique and challenging projects, we gathered the tools and motivation to tackle the types of jobs most would stay away from. We strive to make our work represent simpler times in America when strong values of faith, family and hard work were the platform for which great things were built.
